From 1982 to 2012, Dr. Williams spent 30 years in the United States Navy where he provided dental care worldwide as a member of the Navy Dental Corps. During this time, he completed two residency programs and served in many positions such as AEGD Director, Public Health Emergency Officer for FEMA Region 5, served on various faculty positions at both medical and dental schools, and developed and taught substance abuse and addiction curriculum for the Navy, Department of Defense, VA, and other national and local programs. After retirement in 2012, he joined the faculty at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Illinois where he was recently promoted to Professor.

Speaker: Dr Brijesh Patel
Dr. Patel is a graduate of the prestigious Temple university and was bestowed as an honor student in the oral surgery host program; additionally, he earned an excellence award in the field of cosmetic dentistry. In addition to years of a successful general dentistry practice, he received advanced training in implant dentistry. He has been awarded a Fellowship and Diplomate in Oral Implantology by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and American Association of Implant Prosthetics (AAIP). Consequently, Dr Patel is a world-renowned faculty, and is currently working with Hiossen as a course director. He is an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association and ICOI. He strives to continue his excellence in the field of implants, by strengthening his forte of placing immediate implants and All-on-x surgery. Dr. Patel has additional professional training in oral surgery and sedation dentistry. To provide the highest level of dental care, he continues to take education courses to keep up to date on new dental techniques.
